Synchronisation

Located at the company head office, the back-office departments (General Management, Sales Administration, etc.) have an installation in customer/server mode. Data is accessed directly on the company’s server and the central database.

Front-office departments (Commercial Department, Regional Managers, sales representatives, medical representatives, etc.) often have to work in mobile mode according to the geographic location of their customers, which entails a different way of managing their databases.
Klee Commerce is designed to run independently, proposing useful data for their visits.

Remote synchronisation of their data gives travelling associates constant access to customer information. Thus optimised, the sales data, now more reliable, is updated by entry in real time.
Data on the central server is accessible in the following different modes: online or offline.

  • Offline mode: makes it possible to work on a local database. Synchronisation (data transmitted/received) is one-off and executed via an ADSL or WiFi connection.
  • Online/offline mode: allows remote synchronisation as soon as the user connects to the company’s network.

Synchronisation can also be defined in transparent manner for the user in order to reduce information uploading/downloading time between the head office and the field.
